TheStyleArbiter.com is committed to helping men and women improve and evolve their personal style in the areas of fashion, grooming, personal care and etiquette. I decided to launch the site after six years as a book publisher and a decade as an award-winning fashion editor for a major daily newspaper.

In 2007, 2008 and 2009, I was a nominator and judge for the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards, the Oscars of the U.S. fashion industry. I’ve attended more than 1,000 shows at New York Fashion Week and have spent hundreds of hours planning and commentating fashion shows, conducting workplace-dress clinics and consulting with individuals as a personal stylist.

When it comes to style, I see what’s going on. More importantly, I see what’s going down and what’s coming around. I see how fashion and beauty trends evolve globally, and I understand how they translate to everyday people locally.
